The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is the popular promenade for the ostentatious artists of old, which has long symbolised the style and joie de vivre of Paris. Encroaching fast-food joints, car showrooms and cinemas have somewhat dulled the sheen, but the 2km and 70m wide stretch is still an ideal place for evening walks and relishing the food at overpriced restaurants.

By Air:
From Charles De Gaulle airport, take the RER B and change at Chatelet Les Halles station, then take the RER A to Charles de Gaulle-Etoile station.
From Orly airport take OrlyBus to Denfert-Rochereau. Then take metro line 6 and stop at Charles de Gaulle-Etoile station.

By Train:
Paris Gare Montparnasse 6 km. From Montparnasse Station, you have to take metro line 6 and stop at Charles de Gaulle-Etoile station.

By Metro:
The nearest metro station is Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (100 meters), from there take the stairs up and at the exit Avenue de Wagram, in Avenue de Wagram take the 3rd street on your left ( rue Brey ).

By Car:
Take the 'Périphérique Ouest', exit Porte Maillot, then Avenue de la Grande Armée and at the Arc the Triomphe take Avenue Mac Mahon and then the 2nd on the right.
